Rittenhouse Candle and Soap’s candles are made with an all natural soybean wax enhanced with botanical oils that smell good enough to eat and they have an excellent scent throw. Each candle is hand poured with care, using 100% cotton wicks that are lead free. We take pride in creating our products and receive rave reviews from our return customers. We have been told that our candles smell good enough to eat. We hope you too will agree!

Our wax of choice is Soy, due to the vital benefits:
- Soy candles utilize plants that are not depleted. The dependency on crude oil is reduced which promotes the care of our environment.
- Soy candles burn substantially longer than paraffin candles, and are biodegradable, which makes clean-up a breeze.
- Paraffin candles release harmful carcinogens and they contain pesticides. This is not only an environmental concern, but also a health concern.
- Soy wax is a renewable resource grown by American farmers. (Not a petroleum based product like paraffin wax).
Our philosophy of “paying it forward” is alive and well by offering products that sustain our environment. Regardless of the scent and color, every candle created by Rittenhouse Candle and Soap is a GREEN candle.
